After his death on Sept. 28, Pierre Trudeau's body lay in state at the Hall of Honour on Parliament Hill. These are pictures taken of the crowds that gathered to pay tribute to Canada's "Renaissance Man".

The lines started on opposite sides of the front lawn, made their way past the Centennial Flame,
up the stairs, then along both the East and West sides of Parliament before both
entered the building in parallel right into the Hall of Honour.
