Biography
Malcolm was born and raised in Brisbane. His family disappeared during the chaos following Brisbane massacre, when Malcolm was only four years old. Young Malcolm was raised by family friends and when he was old enough he vowed to combat the kind of chaos that had taken his family and joined the Southern Cross. A talented mecha pilot, Malcolm was sent to the 21st ATAC when he used his hovertank to surf the Great Barrier Reef.
Update: Shark served well in the 21st during the NWO conflict, acting as a squad leader. He got along well with some of the newer members, some of whom were almost as crazy and reckles as he was, especially Tank Girl. The two formed an interesting pair as they would sometimes team up in battle to perform ridiculously risky maneuvers. Outside of battle the two would often get into physical contests with each other. The intense relationship has since evolved into a romantic one.
In the aftermath of the Second Robotech War, with over half the squadron lost in battle, Shark has become the 21st's senior (and currently only) Sergeant and second-in-command. While he is a little unsure of having this command responsibility he has utmost faith in his teammates, as they do in him.
Call Sign: Malcolm's call sign comes from his VHT-1 hovertank, which was painted in such a way that when in tank mode the VHT looked like the head of a cartoon shark.
